About Us

Our Story

Welcome to CrossFit West Houston. We are a School of Elite Fitness! We’re a little fitness school with a HUGE passion for training motivated people to evolve to their strongest selves and get into the best shape of their lives!

We started in 2008 at Memorial Park, training just a few members. We opened the doors of the CrossFit West Houston in 2009 when there were just a handful of CrossFit gyms in the area.

We have grown into a community of athletes that train to feel good, improve strength, lose weight, be active, advance skills, and sustainable life long fitness!

Our expertise stretches across all levels of fitness from beginner to advanced. Training at CrossFit West Houston is truly an educational experience that will last your lifetime! Our experienced coaching insight and training knowledge are shared freely in our program, and you can even participate using our online blog and free workouts!

Our Approach

We believe in constant evolution…the continual effort toward becoming better. This is how we approach everything in our business. We’ve learned that fitness…and business…are a journey, not a destination.

We have a rooted desire for constant improvement among our athletes, yet a focused eye on safe lifting mechanics.  Our goal is sustainable, long term health and wellness for our members. If you’re looking for a “throw-n-go” gym where the coach is great at calling “3-2-1-go!” but doesn’t know the mechanics of proper movement…you’ve come to the wrong gym. The approach we take involves sound strength and conditioning principals, fun and challenging workouts, and a motivated community of athletes that is dedicated to elevating each other to explore new levels of fitness success.

In order to provide the best, safest and most effective coaching and programming for our members, we are always striving to become better coaches either through our own training and education, CrossFit and other recognized certifications and our own CFWH ITP (Intern Training) Program.

We continually strive to provide the best member experience of any gym around, whether it be a “globo-style” gym, group fitness class, boot camp or other CrossFit box. We believe in well-rounded, real coaching. We recognize that it’s not just about movement and technique.

Personal attention from a supportive and motivating coach can make all the difference in the world in getting the results you’re looking for.

Success for us means that we make a difference in our members’ lives and create an environment where our members look forward to visiting us each week, meeting new friends, and learn how to make fitness a lifelong endeavor.

  2. Meet with one of our coaches to review your goals, tour our training facility, and try a CrossFit workout.
  3. We’ll recommend a program that fits your needs, and then you choose which program option works best for you!
