Warrior WOD 9:30 AM

Way back in 2002-2003 I discovered CrossFit through the video below. The “Nasty Gils” featured three athletes from the original Greg Glassman CrossFit gym in Santa Cruz CA. The three athletes are Annie Sakamoto, Nicole Carrol and Eva Twardokens. All have benchmark workouts named after them. Eva T is a former Olympic Skier and an avid pilot. On Feb 9th a small engine plane she was in crashed. Eva survived and is in ICU with a long recovery road. I had the pleasure of meeting her in 2011 at Paleo fx in Austin. And was able to tell her that the Nasty Girls video inspired me to start CrossFit. This video inspired lots of people to begin CrossFit.


There is a go fund me account to help with her medical costs set up by Annie Sakomoto.
