CrossFit West Houston WOD

3 x 5 (start at 20 lbs less than 5 Rep Max


The first 3 months of CrossFit West Houston were in Memorial Park and Terry Hershey Park. I had very limited equipment so many of the early workouts were bodyweight. Here is one from Feb of 2009.

Note in the picture that there wasn’t a Rogue, Get RX’d, Fitness Depot etc back then. There were not rigs for pull ups. This was built by Sandra’s Dad. Later in 2009 we had a welder build a pull up “rig”. It was just that a pull up rig. There were no squat racks built into it. Just a place to do pull ups.
