Most of you know that I am pretty much a fitness knowledge nerd. All you to do is look at my bio to see all the different continuing education seminars/workshops that I have attended. The cool thing about being a nerd like that is that I get to meet, talk to, and sometimes become really good friends with some of the brightest minds in the fitness business. One such friend that I met at my RKC certification back in 2011 was my then team leader now Master RKC Max Shank. I knew instantly that he was a bright individual and that he could be a rising star.
Five years later that is very true. He has definitely become a highly sought after fitness expert. In the last 5 years he has written two books, risen to Master RKC and constant guest on many popular podcasts.
As some of you know, Max has been to our gym as the lead instructor for the RKC and RKC II workshops at our CrossFit West Houston several times over the last couple of years. Now I am proud to announce that he will be coming back to CFWH do lead his Ultimate Athleticism workshop.
This is a great workshop open to anybody coaches, clients, the general public. Max has the unique ability to breakdown complex movements to their simplest terms. You will grow as an athlete, coach and human. Here is a link to a video that shows Max demonstrating what is possible:
