It is that time of year again. The holidays are upon us and that means hustle and bustle. But it does not mean you should let your fitness slide.
Even if you can’t get into the box to crush a wod, you can still get in a good workout that will keep you steady, moving and keeping the holiday flab at bay.
All you need is 15 to 20 minutes and your own body to get in a good workout. Allow 5 minutes to get in a good warm up to get blood flowing and move the joints. Below is a good general warm up to get you moving:
2 to 3 rounds
15 jumping jacks
10 Big Arm Circles F/B
10 Trunk Twists
10 Good Mornings
10 Lateral Leg Swings
Below are some workouts that require only your own body weight. You can complete them in a about 15 to 20 minutes with the warm up. Think of it as a nice little break from the hustle and bustle of the season.
