How long have you been at CrossFit West Houston? Started fundamentals in April – real classes in May.
How long have you been CrossFitting (if different or applicable)? N/A
What brought you to CrossFit West Houston? A friend is at another box here in Houston. She knew I was trying to get in shape and not happy with results on my own. I was looking at other gyms, programs and classes then she told me how much she has improved doing CF and convinced me to give it a go. I came in to check it out – watched a WOD and took my intro class. I have been hooked ever since.
What did you do for exercise before CFWH? Ultimate Frisbee, sporadic kettlebell, athletic band exercises and random weightlifting.
What do you like most about CFWH? The people are amazing. everyone is so encouraging and pushes you to be awesome.
What is your favorite CrossFit move/exercise? The Olympic Lifts and Kettlebell stuff. Big fan of the strength training since i’m not the best at cardio. Oh and of course the sledge hammer swings.
What is your least favorite? Really? Buck Furpees :-p But im getting better at them so they dont make me cry quite so much.
What were your goals when you started CrossFit? I need to lose a lot of weight – that was the original goal.
How has CrossFit helped you work toward your goals? I have noticed results so I know it is possible and I am more determined than ever to get in shape.

What are your current CrossFit goals? I want to compete in the future. tough mudders, CF games, FGB. Step one though: 1 successful ring dip and 1 successful pull up.
