WOD

Strength:

In 15 minutes find 1 rep max for Thruster

Met Con:

AMRAP in 12 minutes

Partner Empty Bar Fran

21-15-9

  • Each team of partners can choose how to break up reps. However, traditional Fran order must be maintained.
  • Empty Barbells will be used (45 lb, 35lb, 15lb).
  • Barbell can never touch the ground during the entire AMRAP.
  • One complete partner Fran equals 1 Round

    125# on the Thrusters
    Paired with Maria in the WOD and we got 3 rounds + 11 Thrusters (out of 21).

    Partnered with Josh without the awesome mullet. We did 9 pull ups short of 4 rounds. This was dirty but cool in that dirty but cool kind of way.

    @Rob: If he would have been full mullet you would have hit 4 rounds easy. If he was wearing it Kenny Powers style all gelled out you would have seen 5 rounds….but then again, he plays sports, not try to be the best at exercising. ๐Ÿ™‚

    165# on the thurster. 175# threatened to rip my “net” (aka Maura) so I backed off. We got that soon though Luis!

    And Kristen was the best partner ever… Had a FRANtastic time and got 3 rounds plus 21 stylish thrusters. We rock ๐Ÿ™‚

    Ummm… that’s creep-tastic. As in half-creepy and half-fantastic. I can’t decide whether to laugh or run and hide (in case Maura decides to talk to me next)!

    Also – that was a fun WOD yesterday. 125# max thruster, and then Eva and I got ~2.5 rounds of Fran-filled fun. ๐Ÿ™‚
