The F-Lite 230’s run a little bit narrow but they’re pretty flexible and will expand to the size of your foot after a few wears. For what it’s worth, I wear a size 11 in the 230’s and 11.5 in Frees, so I guess the Inov-8’s might run a little big.
The 230’s are awesome though and you can literally wear them for anything we do. You won’t be disappointed.
We often see accessory work programmed consisting of trunk work, mobility, prehab/rehab, and even bodybuilding. Is this just to fill the hour, or is it important? Of course it is, and let me explain why! The fact that it happens to be at the end of the workout does not mean it is less important. […]
The law of individuality tells us we are all the same, but we are all different. We are all made of blood and tissue but how we approach things or respond is individual. Everyone will respond differently based on genetics, stress load, nutrition, and recovery. However, there are some general things that you can focus […]
On January 21st, CrossFit West Houston turned ten years old. Ten years in business is a pretty big milestone. Big milestones offer a time to reflect on the good, the bad and the ugly. Certainly, there has been all those things in the last decade, but from all of that there were lessons. The last […]

I don’t know about anyone else, but I am sore from those all out sprints yesterday!
WOD: 5:28 w/ 115# The double unders were really working today.
Can anyone give me advice for ordering the correct size of INOV-8 F-Lite 230?
How do they compare to Nike Free, Chuck’s, etc?

Nice work on that WOD Reese.
The best way to order the Inov-8’s is to measure your longest foot in centimeters and use the chart here to find your size: https://www.inov-8.com/Fit-and-Function.asp?L=27

Thanks Ryan! I just ordered a pair. If anyone is interested in limited addition INOV-8s:

Unfortunately you have to wait until July to get them.

Or you can go here: https://www.theshoemart.com/inov-8-shoes/bt-ino.html
Looks like they’ve got the blue and white ones (the ones I have) back in stock.

Great WOD. Good clean and jerk instruction from Aja to start us off…
~8:?? on the WOD… Can’t remember, but it was a high 8:00 time… Struggled with DUs but they smoothed out at the end. Used 135# on the C&J

6:something on the WOD. Used the same weight as Steph D and proud to admit it.
As a kid the only shoes I wanted were Air Jordans. Now? Inov-8s. I’m not sure how I feel about this.

need to work more on the c&j technique. i am now a firm believer that technique > strength.
