@kim – there was discussion of dropping the reps by 10 in each category. I don’t think anyone did that though. I used the biggest, widest band I could find, and it didn’t take long before I was doing the push-ups from my knees but the mandatory 3 minutes rest between rounds really helps a lot believe it or not.
Agree with Ordie, the rest really helps but…. I needed a much bigger band and ended up on my knees for the pushups. I did not finish and got mercy ruled with the 40 minute cut off (thank goodness). This one was tough…
Sleep is one of the most underrated tools to improve performance and recovery. It is so important that early man still slept even though they did not have the secure environment of houses, locks, and security systems. Early man was low on the food chain more prey than predator, and yet from sundown to sunup […]

Everyone will respond differently based on genetics, stress load, nutrition, and recovery. However, there are some general things ย that you can focus […]

5 rounds at half the reps with 2 min rests

In other news, got to cross off one of my goals! 10 unassisted kipping pull-ups in every round! ๐

41:24 RXed. Even though I’m still shaking 5 hours later and it made my hands bleed, I liked this one.

29:53 RX. Felt great when this was over, but I’m sore all over today. Babs, you are a cruel one.
Big ups to @StephD for trudging through to the end. You set a precedent that the 5:30 class followed.

Hit the 40 min cutoff with 15 pushups completed in the final round.
Good work on this one everybody, tough mental and physical WOD!
Props to Chris H, less than 30 minutes on this one is crazy!

Meant to update this earlier – 37:42 RXed except for the last round of push ups. I have never been so sore in my life.
