WOD

AMRAP in 20 minutes

5 DB Push Press each arm

10 Air Squats

15 Sit Ups

Good Luck to all CFWH competitors at Bring the Heat Competion at CrossFit Katy! And to Chris Mc who will be representing CFWH at the CrossFit Brisbanes HardN’Up Challenge in Australia!

    CFWH – if you get bored after that WOD, feel free to throw on a new CFWH shirt/tank and come on out to CF Katy tomorrow to cheer on Reese and Sarah L, Mike D, Daniel J, Kristen, Steph Do, Mel, and myself (I think I got everyone). Steph D will also be there as a judge. Should be two good WODs to watch and one heck of a time. Come on out and support!

    Congrats to all the competitors today, everyone worked like crazy and repped the CFDub!
    STEPH DO BALLER.COM got 4th place in our division! WOOT!

    Good job to all the competitors!

    The CF Brisbane competition was awesome. Over 220 competitors, 3 WODs, and beautiful weather (75, sunny, and no humidity!). All WODs were 12 min AMRAPs
    WOD 1: 20 burpees, 330 meter run (I got 4 rounds + burpees and 3/4 of the run)
    WOD 2: 30 53# kb swings and 60 Double Unders (4 rounds + 10 kb swings)
    WOD 3: 20 CF games style push ups and 20 meter 25kg sandbag lunges (6 rounds + 20 push ups)

    They divided everyone into three groups and in order to make the final 10 you had to win one of the three WODs. I was top 6 in all of the workouts but i never won one so i didnt make the top 10. The top 10 did a 4th workout which was a 50 meter 25kg weighted tire pull, 20 meter handstand walk, 20 25kg sandbag squat cleans, and a 400 meter run/sprint to the finish.

    Great event, and i’m pretty sure i was the one who travelled the furthest for it!

    @ Mel V – thanks!! Congrats to all the competitors yesterday – it was a tough and HOT day, and everyone battled through! I had a blast, and as usual can’t wait till the next one! Maybe top 3 next time… 😉

    oh and i definitely slept till 2 today… guess my body needed some rest!
