    Death by a single pullup. Seriously. Then switched to a bigger band and continued through the 6th round.
    WOD 8:44 (16kg KB)

    Plus 27 birthday burpees.

    would there be anything equally difficult that i could sub for pull ups in attempts to preserve my already ripped hands (that keep ripping every time i extend them all the way)? i could just try to do them from my finger tips and do less kip… but besides that 🙂

    Great workout! I was right on Rob’s heels..yeah right! After it was over, Rob looks at me and says “Lance, why are you always bringing up the rear” and I repond with “I am pacing myself sargent..”

    It was great to workout with the 5 AM crew! Even though it meant less sleep for me:)!

    Death by Pull Ups 7 complete rounds failed on the 8th I did 10 pull up attempts to try to squeak out 8, but alas it was not to be.

    Met Con 8:04

    It is good to be Lance’s Big Toe… Sgt Hulka.

    Death by pull up, 5, with thick blue band, was doing ring pull ups the last time we did it.
    Met Con: 11:45 @ 30#

    Died on pull ups during 6th round.

    Met Con- 11:00 with the 53# KB… Geez you morning peeps made that sound easy with those awesome times. My hamstrings weren’t jiving well with that KB.

    Extra Credit- ran 5 x 200s during the next class with Reese and Ryan during their WOD. Since they were tired from the KBs, I could actually keep up with them 🙂

    i know i’m super late, but 4 rounds on death by pull ups with no band, and 8:45 i think on the metcon w/ 35# kb.
