Is Accessory Work Necessary?
We often see accessory work programmed consisting of trunk work, mobility, prehab/rehab, and even bodybuilding. Is this just to fill the hour, or is it important? Of course it is, and let me explain why! The fact that it happens to be at the end of the workout does not mean it is less important. […]

What an awesome WOD today!! Thanks, Rob (or should I say “Tammy” since she drew our card!)
I have no idea what was my score, but we did 16 minutes of tabata:
pull-ups
push-ups
sit-ups
air squats
Great way to start hump-day!! 🙂

@Ryan- Sad but true. Partly b/c I like to row, partly out of relief that Filthy Fifty wasn’t pulled.

So jealous of the 2k row pull! Seriously.
Way to go Kristen!

I would have fallen and purposely broken my ankle/nose/hip if I had been there for the 2k row.
We did one whose name I forget but it was:
5-10-15
back squats (65#)
box jumps (20″)
time =3:40something
then:
ring L-sit holds x 5: 30sec./30sec./20sec./45sec./30sec.
tabata sit ups = 15 lowest round

6:30 pm drew the short straw with Murph…unbelievable in that Autumn and I were talking on the drive over that was the one card we didn’t want to pull (my hands are shredded already), and I f’in pull it.
Team Murph (Mike and Autumn): 31.09 (and it was a blast!)

@Mike&Autumn – awesome! That’s the one we were worried about too at the 9:00am! We got off relatively easy:) or should it be :(?

Heather said it for the 4:30 class….
I did 85# OH squats, and Rob told me that if they were broken up, I’d have a burpee penalty; needless to say- no burpee penalty for me. My arms were absolutely wrecked! I cannot think of a more painful combination than going from OHS to K2Es. HSPUs actually worked out really well for me.
6 rounds + all OHS (all unbroken sets of OHS and HSPUs)
Everyone’s WODs sounded awesome! This was a fun day 🙂

4:30 class… 47# OHS, 6 rounds and all OHS
i felt like i needed some more cardio or something after that workout, even as i was having trouble stringing together all the OHS… however, i’m feeling it today!
