    Word to the wise: do NOT try to go from 7 weeks of paleo (a.k.a. no gluten, dairy, or sugar) STRAIGHT to a dinner replete with handmade pasta, cream sauce, bread, and home made chocolate cake with icing and ice cream. It does NOT turn out well! Ana and I can attest to this:(

    WOD: no idea on the time. I was only focused on maintaining proper form and finishing.

    Today was a good WOD…Rob had me carry the men’s weight, which really was a challenge for me, but in a great way! It isn’t fun to finish LAST, but at the same time I really felt challenged, which was a great feeling! Sometimes you can’t look at the clock…you have to focus on doing it right and really pushing yourself (good lesson for me to learn). Thanks for all the support of my 5 am peeps! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Snatch Balance – 85 lbs
    Met Con: 15:30 (started with 65 lbs…did drop to 45 pounds on the LAST OH Walk – my shoulders were in major pain…but it did feel GREAT)

    Also – Thank you Rob – I had forgotten what it is like to run with “The Big Dogs”! Between yesterday and today…my eyes are opened and focused!

    @Kim – it is just a walk today…no lunges!

    @Rob – blow drying my hair after this work out was almost as hard as the work out! LOL! Made me want to consider shaving MY head…JUST kidding…that would never happen!

    Snatch balance: 67 lbs
    MetCon: 17.56 mins w/37 lbs, started with rings push-ups and had to drop to push-ups ON MY KNEES half-way through the last round.

    Whilst this is likely the very, very most brutal, beat-me-down WOD I have ever done – it was a great chance to highlight some opportunity areas for training and great feeling to finish! Thanks to all for the encouragement and a special shout-out to Coach Steph D! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Let’s just say – I am very happy to have curly hair that looks the same whether I wash it or not!

    I actually really enjoyed this WOD- painful, but I enjoyed pushing through it.

    Ana, I have felt that way so many times with Crossfit! Your in the middle of the workout and you feel like it’s impossible to finish. You just keep pushing and then it feels amazing to finish. Work on the weeknesses and a couple months down the line you will look back and be amazed by your progress!
