Beyond the Body – CrossFit Journal

Just a shout out to the ladies of CFWH. This is a great article about how CrossFit Girls break the mold, challenge stereotypes and break barriers. I think our society has come a long way in viewing the capabilities of women. It has been my view for sometime that women are typically the stronger sex.

In recent months I have seen the woman of CFWH blossom and do incredible things. There is incredible fight and desire in each of you that manifests itself from competing and advancing in sectionals, hitting strength pr’s, a whole bunch of you are breaking out in kipping pull ups and much more. I am proud of all of you!

    Rob – thank you so much for that article.

    I think it truly epitomises what I see everyday at the box in our women and why I have so much admiration for all of them. That “like-mindedness” is such an influencing factor behind my own continued desire to forge ahead with CrossFit. Thank you, chicas! And thank you, Rob, for your unending encouragement!

    Oh… and chic on page 2 looks like a stud… 😉

    Thanks for the props. That article is so on target. I once thought that for me, the ultimate ULTIMATE fitness I could EVER achieve would be to be able to do 3 pull ups. Pffffft….WHATEVER!!:)

    p.s. we chicks at CFWH are ESPECIALLY hot

    I saw this article this morning and thought it was such a great read! Especially the part about pink dumbbells at the 5 and MAYBE 10 pound weights! LOL! Kind of funny to think back to grade school during field days and phycial tests…so true…we have come a long way! Thanks Rob for the shout out! The ladies at CFWH really work their butts off and have a true passion for fitness! We aren’t afraid to get rough hands! 🙂
