I found an interesting article/listen on NPR this morning. It is on barefoot running. Just thought I would post it. Link is work family safe. https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=123031997

i did a lot of barefoot running drills in Kenya but it seems like a lifetime of heel striking is going to take a long time for me to correct!

BS: 175-195-215-225-235
Met Con: 8:17 w/ 30# DBs

BS: 205/215/215/220(pr)/220/225(pr)
Metcon: 5:30 (35# db’s)
my metcon didn’t include the 200M runs this morning b/c of all the rain. I did 15 burpees instead. Not sure that was a smart idea combined with the SC’s and after the ME BS’s, but it is what it is. My legs are going to be like jello tomorrow.
