Stephanie started at CrossFit West Houston in August ’09. She came with a strong athletic background. Steph competed on the international level as a member of the US Women’s Rugby Team. She is consistently one of the top female times on the white board and has made tremendous progress.
Some of her highlights:
Deadlift 275 max
Bugaboo time with RX weight 14:08
Max kipping pull ups 16 (This was a self professed weakness. She started with a thick blue assistance band.)
Shoulder Press 110
Third place finish in Women’s Modified Division of Oktober Obliterate Competition at CrossFit Champions.
Stephanie has her sites set on the Central and South Texas Sectionals March 13-14 in Austin TX.

Steph is a great person to work out with. You get to see her amazing progress, yet she is so humble about it. She attains these huge accomplishments, and will turn around and encourage someone else rather than taking credit for herself. She always has an enthusiastic, go-get-em attitude that keeps us all reaching for our goals. I really appreciate getting to work out with such a great and UM, AWESOME athlete:).

I really appreciate those kind words Nicole- you just made me blush! You’re the best cheerleader ever and I give full credit to my improvement to the encouraging atmosphere you all provide at CFWH.

Steph – “simply amazing” is the best way to describe you! By far the best athlete I know! I am so proud to know you and work out with you. You have achieved so many accomplishments and continue push yourself harder every day! You are so inspiring! Your attitude is the best…I wish I could be that happy (and confident) all the time!

Not only has Stephanie made many personal improvements, she has been a Huge part of mine as well. Thanks to her persistent urging I finally joined CF a few months after her. She always makes sure I’m going and tries to be there at the same time with me. When she’s there with me, she always helps me out and pushes me through my WOD(since she finishes first 🙂 ) If she isn’t there with me, she makes a point to ask how I did and gives great feedback.
Steph- I’m so proud of you and can’t wait for you to compete at Sectionals!!
