Is Accessory Work Necessary?
We often see accessory work programmed consisting of trunk work, mobility, prehab/rehab, and even bodybuilding. Is this just to fill the hour, or is it important? Of course it is, and let me explain why! The fact that it happens to be at the end of the workout does not mean it is less important. […]

Still in Lafayette– did yesterday’s CFWH WOD with Chris:
7 rounds in 19:20
7, 5, 2, 4, 7, 4, 9
Bleeding calluses on the second round- whoop.
Watched Chris finish up his 8th round of pull ups to tell him when time was up, then went ahead and ran another 400 m for fun.

Like Steph said we did the 400m run and max push ups at the park.
I made it 8 rounds and did 24,17,13,13,14,13,12,9
24 is my PR for pulls ups!
All that in 40 degree weather!

WOD: OHS 85/95/105/115
Metcon – 5:41 @ 95#
Heavy OHS was nice to do. Good to see how heavy I can go since practicing on OHS form. I might have been able to do a little more than 115# at 7 reps, but not much.
Metcon was brutal. Maybe should have gone a little lighter….
