Inspiring Story

Sometimes we all need a little inspiration and motivation. Sometimes we can feel like the weight of the world is on us because of job stress, relationship stress, big city traffic or whatever. It may feel like we can’t overcome it.

Chris M of the 6PM class forwarded this link of a truly inspiring CrossFit story. For some of us this is a workout program, but I truly think CrossFit can help us become better at life. It teaches us that when we are down, tired, hurting, sick, etc that we need to get back up and keep going. This letter from CrossFit Threshold co-owner Chris Holt is motivating story of one person overcoming the hand that they were dealt.

    Thanks guys for reading my letter. I hope it sheds light on some key topics that I consistently bring up in my affiliate. Life is too short. Make the most of it. My parents live in the Woodlands and I often visit Scott over at CrossFit The Woodlands for WODs when I’m home. I’ll be sure to try to make a visit to your box next time I’m in that neck of the woods. I just hope that my story puts things in perspective for your readers. Remember, my story isn’t even that bad. There are people out there who have more traumatic stories and experiences. It’s all relative. If any of you make it down to Miami for a little vacation, please don’t hesitate to pay us a visit. We’d be honored to have you in for a WOD.
