What to Expect

What makes it tough to stay fit?

Many people have a tough time meeting their fitness goals due to a few little wrinkles.  Here they are… to keep things simple we grouped them together for you!

  • Commitment, Accountability, and Support
    Having the willpower to get yourself moving or finding a partner to light a fire under you and keep you accountable.
  • Fun vs. Boredom
    Workouts get redundant and boring; even if you have a personal trainer or friend to work out with, you tend to find yourself doing the same old thing or you just don’t know what to do.
  • Tracking Results and Motivation
    Having a plan or goal helps. But most of us have jobs and other priorities that prevent us from learning how to plan out our programs for success. It’s hard to know what to work on and how. And how do you define good goals for YOUR fitness anyway?

If this sounds like you, stop wasting your time with your current workout or training program! We are CrossFit West Houston. We’ve been a CrossFit affiliate since 2008. We are a School of Elite Fitness.  We can help you reach your goals!

Commitment

At CrossFit West Houston, you’ll have coaches that are vested in your success here every day of the week to guide you to your desired results. They’re here to guide you, teach you and help you celebrate your achievements. All members have contact info for at least one of our coaches so you can feel free to seek guidance, direction, ask questions or just touch base.

Showing up to class is important. In fact, your results depend on it! Your primary coach will take an active role with reminders and motivation!

Excellence in Coaching

We are an all-inclusive fitness school. This means we remove the extra steps that cause failed fitness routines and nothing to brag about results!

Coaching will:

  • Save you time from planning your own workouts
  • Teach only the best training methods
  • Help you set and break through your fitness goals
  • Call you out on missed attendances
  • Remove the worry of  poor movement and lifting technique
  • Make fitness so addicting and fun we may have to kick you out when it’s time to go home!

Education

When you join CFWH, you will be armed with what you need to reach your goals. In class we teach proper movement for each exercise…but also proper movement and mobility in general. We provide guidance on nutrition since it’s such an important aspect of health and optimal athletic performance. As a CFWH member you’ll be educated, confident, and in control of your own results.

Be willing to make positive changes in your life, face new challenges head on, work through hard times, push past your comfort zone, and rest (YES! Rest….it is necessary!) when you need it. You have an great group of coaches and like-minded athletes to support you here at CFWH!

Learn how to track, measure, and evaluate your workouts and nutrition. This will reveal the truth behind your progress. We can help!

Guiding someone toward health and fitness isn’t just about the class. It’s also about providing just the right kind of motivation for each member…and at the right time! We’ve cultivated a positive uplifting culture where you can be free to try things you never thought you could do before. You’ll be surrounded by supportive coaches and an inspiring group of driven athletes who are there to cheer you on to success!

Be positive! Come to class with a towel, water, your “game face” and a GREAT ATTITUDE! Your gonna love being a part of an active, supportive community. Just listen to our members!
