OUR COACHES

LAUREN ROTHMAN

Lauren is a certified Level 1 CrossFit instructor. She has been coaching at CrossFit West Houston since 2013 and an active member of the CrossFit West Houston community since 2010.

Lauren’s background includes a long stint in competitive fast-pitch softball through high school. Her path changed in college and Lauren pursued various recreational sports and became a ‘gym rat.’ Her habit was formed due to wanting to look good in jeans, and she hired a personal trainer post-college. She was a regular in spin classes as well, but she was not getting the results she wanted. She knew that she could not perform a single pull-up and she knew that was an indicator of her fitness.

Lauren was encouraged to google CrossFit by a colleague at work who thought the match would be a good fit for Lauren’s personality. So she did, and she found that CrossFit West Houston was walking distance from her home. She walked in knowing no one, but realized this was where she needed to be. Her personal fitness goals have been met allowing her to set more ambitious goals, and she has made countless friends.
