I am a native Houstonian, mother of three grown boys, owner of two awesome dogs, and wife to a super strong dude, Mike. My husband and I had heard of CrossFit from a friend so we decided to give it a try. We joined CrossFit West Houston in 2009 and have been members ever since!
I have always been active with running, spinning and yoga. I love CrossFit because it challenges me everyday – even ten years later. It has challenged me to learn new skills like weightlifting and pull ups! This girly girl never would of thought I would be doing clean and jerks or deadlifts!
As I have gotten older, I see how important it is to maintain and continue to build strength. Strength truly takes a lifetime to achieve (STALTA). I am stronger now than I was in my 30’s – thanks to CrossFit!
CrossFit has provided a like-minded community of athletes to workout and do life with – I love our CFWH community! The men and women at CFWH inspire me daily to be better! I got my L1 certificate in 2012 and began coaching the QuickFit Program here at West Houston in 2017. I enjoy getting the opportunity to help others realize their potential.
I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for CrossFit with others!
